Kit Watson’s music springs from a deeply felt emotional commitment to the American blues and English folk traditions.
His first album, Footprints, reflects the influences of Bob Dylan and Martin Carthy on his work, and contains his own composition about the mysterious death of Brian Jones entitled Elmo’s Blues.
Kit’s second album, Nashville Crossing explores the Country Music aspect of Kit’s work, and includes highly atmospheric fiddle playing by Jan Land with inventive percussion from Dave Church.
